Garden Updates
The Greenfield Garden was built in 2020 and we have 16 plots for any Greenfield Community League member to rent. Small plots are $25 and large plots are $50. We will have compost available if you want to add to your plot and will have the water Cisterns filled before May Long weekend. For more information on renting a plot please e-mail: [email protected]
Don’t forget to stop by and check out the two Community beds and the Food Bank Beds (the plots are clearly signed), and please respect all the other private garden rentals. These two community plots along with the fruit tree and bushes are for everyone to enjoy but the other 16 plots are private rentals. The compost has also been filling up. Please remember to follow the signs and only add to the bin with the check mark, and to avoid adding any garbage, stickers, or plastic bags (even compostable ones). Thanks to everyone that contributes to the nourishment of our gardens through making our own compost.
Hopefully we will have some ready to use for the next season!
We are looking forward to the harvest this year and the end of another growing season. Connect with the garden committee
