Community Garden

Garden Updates

Contact email: [email protected]

Established in 2020, the community garden has been a great way to bring people together each year. The garden is located just south of the community league hall. We have 8 large plots (4 feet x 12 feet $30.00 per year) and 8 small plots (4 feet x 7 feet $15.00) available for private rental and 2 community-access plots for everyone to enjoy.  The gardening season typically runs from May to October each year with returning members getting first priority at the beginning of the season before plots are then released to the wait list.

For new members - if you would like to obtain a garden plot, please email to inquire about current plot availability.

Garden plot rental requirements:
  • Completed contract form
  • Current Greenfield Community League membership (membership number required for contract form)
  • Payment (non-refundable)

The Greenfield Community Garden is always looking for volunteers. Join our community gardeners by emailing the Garden Coordinator at [email protected]. They will be happy to answer any questions.

Community Garden

We have formed a Greenfield Community Garden committee and are always looking for more members!
It is a low time commitment, immensely rewarding committee to join!!

Join our community gardeners by emailing the
Garden Commitee.  They will be happy to answer any questions and/or reserve your plot for you.
We respectfully acknowledge the neighbourhood of Greenfield is located within Treaty 6 Territory and within the Métis homelands and Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. We acknowledge this land as the traditional territories of many First Nations, such as the Nehiyaw (Cree), Denesuliné (Dene), Nakota Sioux (Stoney), Anishinabae (Saulteaux) and Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community.
