The traditional community league barbecue will not be taking place this year to limit person to person contact. Current restrictions on outdoor social gatherings is 200 including performers and volunteers, so some events will also have additional measures in place to ensure compliance. Each event on community league day is highlighted below, including the safety precautions being taken. We will require volunteers for this event, so if you are interested in volunteering to help with traffic control or other tasks, please contact communications@greenfieldcommunityleague.com. Saturday September 19 Community League Day Agenda: 1:00 - Local Vendor Trade Show 4:00 - Family Friendly Street Performer "The Great Balanzo" (tickets required) 5:30 - Theater Performance: A Midsummer Night's Dream (tickets required) Event #1: Local Vendor Trade ShowAre you a local business owner? Or someone who wants to support a local business? We recognize that it is more important than ever to support local, and we would like to help connect community members with locally run businesses! On community league day, we invite local businesses or services to share information about their offering. This will be simply an opportunity for vendors to showcase their business and share details without completing transactions or making sales. Please Note: to ensure compliance with physical distancing and social gathering regulations, this will be a ticketed event. Tickets are free, but are required to attend in order to restrict numbers and meet social gathering rules. Volunteering OpportunitiesIf you are interested in volunteer opportunities and would like to become more involved in our wonderful neighbourhood, then you may be interested in participating in the GreenfieldCommunity League! Community League Board Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8th from 7PM to 9PM using Google Hangouts. Board meetings are open to all Greenfield residents, regardless of whether or not you have a current membership.
